We are four students, not a data company. Here is everything we collect and why. It fits on one page on purpose. Last updated July 1, 2026.
Two things. That's it.
Waitlist: your email address, and the school you pick. We use it to send you one launch email when Kwop opens, plus rare updates that actually matter. No selling, no renting, no sharing with advertisers, ever.
Survey: your answers, stored anonymously. There is no name or email attached, so please don't put personal info in the free-text box.
Stored safely, deleted on request.
Data is stored with Supabase (our database provider) on servers in the US. Our site host, Vercel, collects anonymous page analytics: no cookies for tracking, no ad pixels, no fingerprinting.
Want off the list or your data gone? DM us on Instagram (@kwop.nyc) and it's done within a few days, no questions asked.
One email. No spam. No games.
Joining the waitlist means exactly one thing: we ping you the day Kwop opens at NYU. Every email we send includes a way to opt out. If our practices change when the app launches, this page changes first, and this policy is for the website only. The app will get its own, and you'll see it before you sign up. Questions?
